City of Springfield Housing Repair Services

The City of Springfield offers several programs that provide funding for housing rehabilitation. See each program for eligibility requirements.


Revitalize CDC

 DASHH, Doorway to a Safe Healthy Home Program provides assessments and interventions for adults and children with asthma and makes home improvements that allow seniors to safely remain in their home.

 Veterans Rehabilitation and Remodification Program serves low-income, disabled veterans across the state of MA through rehabilitating homes so that Veterans can age-in-place.

Way Finders

Get the Lead Out Program provides low-cost financing to owners of 1-4 family properties to remove hazardous lead paint from their homes and reduce the possibility of lead poisoning in children.

Home Modification Loan Program is a state funded program that helps Massachusetts residents live more independently at home. These loans allow homeowners in Massachusetts to remain in their home and must specifically relate to a person in the household’s ability to function on a daily basis.

Weatherization Services

Weatherization Assistance Program at Springfield Partners for Community Action provides low income eligible households with home energy conservation services.
